  • Processes payroll, resolves payroll and PTO/Extended Illness issues

  • Processes FMLA and leave requests

  • Manages workers’ compensation claims and reporting

  • Conducts onboarding for frontline employees

  • Completes employment verifications, tuition reimbursement and other employee requests

  • Processes HR report requests and provides workforce data as needed

  • Develops and distributes the employee newsletter and HR communications

  • Conducts pre-employment coordination (background checks, references, and onboarding readiness)

  • Maintains recruiting data and tracks hiring metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, candidate pipeline)
