The United Healthcare Vital Medication Program offers certain drugs at no additional cost. This means there may be no out-of-pocket costs for preferred insulins and certain other medications,

including:

• Insulin – rapid, shot and long-acting
• Epinephrine – allergic reactions
• Glucagon – hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
• Naloxone – opioid overuse
• Albuterol - asthma
