Wesley Woods provides charitable assistance for housing and meals to residents who may have outlived their savings or do not have the financial resources they need to access higher levels of care. This allows residents - and their families - to experience peace of mind knowing they do not have to leave their home.
A Wesley Woods resident, with very limited means, was receiving financial support from her daughter to pay her monthly rent. Unfortunately, during this COVID-19 crisis, the resident’s daughter lost her job and is no longer able to provide for her mother. Because of support from generous donors, Wesley Woods assured the mother that she can stay in her Wesley Woods home.
A resident of Wesley Woods of Athens who was the primary caregiver for her ill husband for 20 years. After his death, she quickly realized she could not make ends meet due to the combination of medical bills from her late husband’s illness and her limited social security income. Thankfully, she was able to remain in her Wesley Woods home because of the generosity of others.
