Location: Newnan, Georgia

HOMETOWN HIGHLIGHTS

Newnan, founded in 1828, is the county seat of Coweta County. It is known as the “City of Homes” for the classic antebellum and Victorian style houses that dot its neighborhoods. As a matter of fact, Newnan has six historic districts, all on the national register. Newnan is also the home of the Cancer Treatment Center of America and a new Piedmont Hospital of Newnan.

LIVING LARGE

With around 38,000 citizens, Newnan definitely has the inviting feel of a small town. However, one walk down Main Street and around the downtown square (shops, restaurants, galleries), one look through a local events calendar, or one afternoon of antique browsing is all it takes to discover it is a place that lives larger and livelier than its size. In other words, it’s the perfect combination. Which is why Wesley Woods of Newnan residents are more likely to refer to it as the “City of Delights.”
