Georgia Peach Cobbler

Is there anything better than a juicy, sweet peach in the summertime? Try this easy and delicious recipe that incorporates fresh Georgia peaches.

Georgia Peach Cobbler
(Note: this recipe uses three separate portions of sugar)

Ingredients:

1 quart Georgia peaches, sliced
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. oil
1/2 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup hot water

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°.

2. Arrange peaches in an 8×12-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar. Mix flour, 1/2 cup sugar, oil and milk in bowl. Pour over peaches. Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar. Pour hot water over all.

3. Place dish on cookie sheet while baking as it may bubble over. Bake for 1 hour or until light brown.

Serves 8.
