Just about every day, you will find Ben Spivey working out with his daughter, Beverly Jennings. That’s because Ben, who moved to Wesley Woods of Newnan three years ago, believes in staying active.
Beverly admits she’s a little in awe of her dad, who goes with her to the gym every day, walking on a treadmill and working out with hand weights. Ben also takes advantage of many of the educational and entertaining events offered at Wesley Woods and has a regular seat at bridge and poker games every week. And while he enjoys the privacy of his apartment, Beverly says her dad also likes knowing that his friends and a lot of fun are waiting just outside his door.
“Dad knows how important it is to stay active,” she says. “Just like the commercial on TV says — ‘A body in motion stays in motion!’”
