Bringing History to Life: Kathryn Smith Portrays FDR’s Gatekeeper
Missy DeHand served Franklin Delanor Roosevelt for twenty years – starting as his secretary and eventually functioning as White House Chief of Staff, the first woman in American history to do so. Everyone in the White House knew if you wanted access to Franklin, you had to get through Missy.
As you can imagine, hers is a fascinating story. Journalist and author Kathryn Smith, assuming the role of Missy, will be here to tell it!
